Gillette Venus & Olay Razor

So, the next great product from Gillette is here! This is probably the closest to Goddess anyone is going to get. When I first started shaving my legs, I used the cheapest razors there were. Cuts and bumps galore. Then my aunt gave me my first Gillete Venus Razor. It was amazing. I haven't cut my legs from shaving in years and my legs have been oh so smooth. I always vouched for Gillete and now they've given me another reason to love them.

The new Gillete Venus & Olay razor is incredible. It has two moisture bars to help hydrate your legs and five blades to help you get the closest shave possible. I love it because I don't have to use shaving cream. The moisture bars take care of everything. My legs were still a little dry afterwards and I did have to put on lotion afterwards, but they were less dry than they usually are when I'm done shaving. 

The one thing I didn't like about the razor was the fact that the moisture bars dissolve pretty quickly. I think they lasted about a week and a half or so. The razor still works great, but shaving cream is now necessary. Overall, I love this thing and wish I had fifty more!

So there's this guy...

So there's this guy. I've known him for about three years, but have only really known him for about two. He makes my world go round and has the most amazing smile. He sits too close to the TV when he plays video games, waits till the last day of his break to start getting ready for work, and tends to leave the bathroom a mess sometimes, but he always kisses me goodbye before he leaves for work in the morning, lets me win when we're playing video games, and gives the best hugs.

He's the first person I've ever fallen in love with and the first person I think of when I wake up in the morning. He's a great cook, which is good because... I kinda suck. He has this way of looking at me that makes me feel all tingly inside. He doesn't always appreciate me having my camera out, but he puts up with me anyway. These last two years have been the best years of my life, and I couldn't imagine my life without him right now.

His name is Chris and today is our two year anniversary.
Happy anniversary babe. I love you. Always and forever

Spring Babies

Ahh, Spring time... The flowers are blooming, the bees are buzzing and little baby animals are being born! I love spring time on the farm. The first three babies of the year were born early this morning around 4 AM. Their mommy is a goat I named Bazinga, who was born two years ago on the farm. She was a triplet herself, so there was a very good chance she would have triplets, and she did! These are her first kids and she had them all by herself without any difficulty.

She had two girls, white with brown heads, and a little boy who is a stunning red color all over except for a few  white spots. Of course the boy had to be the pretty one... We generally keep the girls for breeding and sell the boys, unless they look really good, in which case we'll keep them for breeding stock as well. I'm really hoping he'll turn out good (he's already pretty stocky) so that we'll get to keep him. I gave them all names already. It's not so much an attachment thing as it makes it easier to refer to them so we don't have to keep calling them "that little girl," or "the boy."

Since their mommy's name is Bazinga I dubbed them Sheldon, Penny, and Bernadette from The Big Bang Theory! I'm thinking this is going to be tradition for her babies... until we run out of names from the show haha. Sheldon is the only boy, so his name choice was obvious. Penny is the bigger of the two girls and since the actress who plays Bernadette is so petite, the smaller girl got her name.

There are three more goats who should be due pretty soon: Hippy, Ruby, and Itty Bitty. They all look like they're about to burst! We also have about five more that have been in a pen with a buck for the last couple of months who should be kidding as well.

Having Klout is güd

What an awesome week this is turning out to be.. well, if you don't think about the impending doom of Thursday of course... Economics final :/ Yesterday I received a rather large package from Klout. Klout is another one of those awesome websites that sends you free stuff for being influential online. Klout measures your influence by tracking your activities on Twitter, Facebook and a few other social websites. It represents your influence by giving you a "Klout Score". The score is on a scale from 1-100. Right now my Klout score is 48. Klout awards members with "perks" based on their score, topics their influential about, and their geographic location.

My most recent perk just came yesterday. It's a box of "gudees" from güd! This perk was awarded to members with a Klout score of 45 +, had the topic of "beauty", and lived in the US. I got three full-sized products (and when they say full-sized they mean full-sized): güd Orange Petalooza body mist, güd Vanilla Flame body lotion, and güd Floral Cherrynova body wash. They all smell so good!

They came in a very snazzy güd box with a cute little booklet telling about the brand. The body spray smells good and lasts for quite a long time, the lotion is spectular! I put some on my hands earlier and they are still sooo smooth (and smell great)! I haven't tried the body wash yet, but I plan on taking a shower tonight, so that's on my to-do list ;)

Influenster Love Vox Box

Love is in the air! -err..  in the box I mean.
I just got my Influenster Love Vox Box this weekend! Yay!

This month's vox box contained fun products: a few to get me date ready, and some for me to share with my sweetie (so says the card that came in the box)! I love Influenster! Influenster.com is a website where you can sign up to receive free products, via vox boxes, and all you have to do in return is tell them about your experience with the items. Did you like them? Did you hate them? Are you going to recommend them?

The Love Vox Box came with five products this month: Gillete Venus & Olay Razor, Kiss Nail Dress - Fashion That Sticks, Stash Tea Herbal Tea Sampler, Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Creamy Devotions Bar, and Truvia natural Sweetener! So far, the only thing I've gotten into is the Ghirardelli chocolate bar (which at one point had been melted, but was expected) and I am in LOVE (which was also expected). It is soooo creamy and delicious. My brother's girlfriend sold me some chocolate the other day for a fundraiser for her school, and I have to say... Madison, your chocolate ain't got nothin' on this Ghirardelli chocolate. Nope, not even your caramel stuff :P
